1........004 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 22, 2007) - A Standard Missile (SM-3) is launched from the Aegis combat system equipped Arleigh Burke class destroyer USS Decatur (DDG 73) during a Missile Defense Agency ballistic missile flight test. Minutes later the SM-3 intercepted a separating ballistic missile threat target, launched from the Pacific Missile Range Facility, Barking Sands, Kauai, Hawaii. It was the first time such a test was conducted from a ballistic missile defense equipped-U.S. Navy destroyer. The previous flight tests were conducted from U.S. Navy cruisers. The maritime capability is designed to intercept short to intermediate-range ballistic missile threats in the midcourse phase of flight. USS Decatur is one of 18 U.S. Navy ships (three cruisers and 15 destroyers) that will be identically equipped, by early 2009, with the ballistic missile defense capabilities of conducting long-range surveillance/tracking and launching the SM-3 missile. SM-3를 가질수 있든 없든 해군 함정을 탄도탄 요격용으로 사용하는것은 매우 비 효율적이죠.<br>
차라리 다른 수단으로 탄도탄 방어를 생각하는게 효율적이죠.

우리가 장거리 탄도 미사일이 불필요해서 안 갖는 걸까요,
아님 필요하지만 못 갖는걸까요....
우리가 이지스함에 sm-3를 못 갖추는 걸까요, 아님 우리 실정엔 불필요하니
안 갖는 걸까요..... 저는 그게 궁금하군요.

국가에 탄도탄 방어능력이 필요하다면 해군보다는 공군에게 육상 포대를 만들어 주는게 훨씬더 효율적이겠죠.<br>
설마 탄도탄 방어용으로 해상에 특정 지역에 고정 배치하려고 KD-3를 도입하지는 않았을거고 만약 전면전에 그렇게 배치되면 다른 수단에 의해서 함정의 생존이 어렵겠죠.<br>
5척 운용 계획을 만들어 내기 위한 SM-3아닌지 모르겠네요. 뭐에 사용할거냐 하니까 여기도 쓸수 있다고 말입니다.<br>

그리고 이런 경우도 함정의 주 임무는 방공(대함 미사일이나 항공기)이나 대함, 대잠이고 대 탄도탄 방어 임무는 지상 포대가 수행 가능합니다.<br>
무역 수송로에서 분쟁이라면 말라카 아니면 페르시아 만인가요? 말라카의 해적 문제라면 이지스가 아니라 좀더 다른 형태에 저강도 분쟁에 대비하는 다목적 함정이 여러척 필요하겠죠. 주변에 항구도 확보해야 하고<br>
해적들이 하푼이나 엑조세 날리지야 않겠죠. 고속정에 RPG와 AK지.<br>
페르시아 만이라면 현실적으로 어떤 수상함대가 들어가더라도 이란의 만 봉쇄를 깨기는 어렵습니다. 야포로 해엽 양안을 커버할 수 있는 곳입니다.<br>
또 여기사 작전이라고 해도 SM-3가 할일은 없을거 같은데요. 말라카의 해적들이 탄도미사일을 사용할리도 없고, 행해중인 선박을 향해서 탄도 미사일이 날아 올리도 없구요.<br>
단독으로 작전 자체가 불가능하겠지만 페르시아만에 대해서 진입하려면 차라리 전시대의 전함이 필요할지도 모르죠.<br>

상시 한척을 탄도탄 요격용으로 1개 해역에 배치하려면 3척은 필요하고 고가의 이지스 시스템 함정은 이 임무로 고정됩니다.<br>
육상에 1개 포대를 갖추면 예는 교대 안해줘도 되죠. 계속 앉아서 사격가능합니다. 가격도 훨씬 저렴하고(배가 안 들어가므로..)<br>
근무 여건도 월등하죠.<br>
그리고 요격효율에서도 탄도탄이 최 고점에 가까울때인 해상 요격과 하강 단계에서 어느쪽이 더 효율적일지..<br>
차라리 중간 단계에 요격 플렛폼이 필요하면 KDX-3보다는 섬에 설치한다거나 (울릉도가 이런 점에서 적당하겠네요..동해라면 어디가 적당하려나..)<br>
더 크고 저가인 상선 규격에 탄도탄 요격에 필요한 최소한의 장비만 탑재해서 교대로 배치하는것도 방법일듯 합니다만<br>
KDX-3를 중국이나 일본에서 날아올지도 모르는 탄도탄 요격용으로 사용하겠다는 것은 별로 효율적으로 안보이는데..
