United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon 혹은 UNIFIL은 UN에 의해 조직된 군사조직으로 1978년 채택된 Security Council Resolution 425 and 426조항에 따라 이스라엘군의 레바논 철수및 국제 평화/안전유지및 레바논 정부의 관활건 확보를 지원하는 조직입니다.
첫번째 UNIFIL 병력이 1978년 3월 레바논에 도착하여 United Nations Emergency Force and the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force Zone지역에서 활동을 시작합니다,
이들 병력은 1982년 레바논전부터 최근의 이스라엘-레바논분쟁까지 국제평화유지군으로의 임무를 수행하며 최근 2007년 8월까지 주둔을 연장한 바 있습니다.

In addition, French Navy ships with 1,700 men are deployed off Lebanon in Opération Baliste, and assisting in UNIFIL operations.
