NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. (AFPN) -- A four-ship formation of Royal Australian Air Force F-111s flies to ranges here Feb. 14 during Red Flag 06-1. Red Flag tests aircrews' warfighting skills in realistic combat situations. The exercise involves more than 85 aircraft, flying missions day and night to the Nevada Test and Training Range. Along with the Air Force, units from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, United Kingdom and Australia are participating in this Red Flag.
