FENNEK은 독일 Kassel의 Krauss-Maffai Wegman사와 네덜란드 ARGE 페넥 생산 컨소시움(SP aerospace & Vehicle Systems BV)이 612대를 생산하여 네덜란드 육군과 2003년 12월 독일 육군까지 배치가 완료되었습니다.
차장, 관측병, 운전병등 3명이 탑승하며, 소화기와 대인/대전차지뢰에 대한 방어력, 중량 11톤, 적재량 3톤에 원격조정식 7.62mm 기관총이나 40mm 유탄발사기 탑재가 가능하고 5일간 독립으로 작전 수행 가능합니다.
