The first operational F/A-22 Raptor flies to its permanent home at Langley Air Force Base, Va., on May 12, 2005. The Raptor is the first stealth supersonic fighter in the world. This aircraft is the first of 26 Raptors to be delivered to the Air Force's 27th Fighter Squadron.
