David ´ñ±Û¿ø¹® :
To be completely honest that was a crap landing bouncing about like a tennis ball. It was NOT a stool it is a purpose built piece of equipment to rest the aircraft on during maintainance. I worked for the MoD where the "Ski Jump" that is on the aircraft carriers to make take off easier when fully loaded, during testing the front landing gear often collapsed on take off and the aircraft landed back on a "air bag" nothing really dangerous or exciting in this story. One thing though it is nice to see the Harrier still flying after our dipstick Government said it had had its day, the Americans know a GOOD deal and aircraft when they see one...
