In 1999, Dassault Aviation (Rafale, Mirage and Falcon manufacturer) asked us to study with their team and build a prototype of stealth UAV : the’’ Petit Duc’’.
1999년에 Dassault Aviation 항공사(라팔, 미라지 그리고 팰컨의 제작사)는 우리에게 자신들의 팀과 합류하여 같이 연구를 진행하고 스텔스 UAV Petit Duc을 제작하자고 제안해 왔습니다.

It was developed to validate aerodynamic and radar cross section models for stealth UAVs.
그것은 스텔스 UAV에 적용될 공기역학 설계와 레이더단면 모델을 유효화하기 위해 도입되었습니다.

This UAV is the precursor to a full size pilotless combat aircraft destined to accompany the Rafale fighter. The principal objective in designing the Petit Duc was to achieve the lowest possible radar signature. The radar cross section is about the same as a sparrow.
이 UAV는 라팔 전투기와 더불어 새로이 활동하게 될 실제 크기의 무인 전투기의 선행적인 모델입니다. Petit Duc을 제작하는 데 주요 관건은 레이더 피탐율을 최소화시키는 데 그 초점이 맞추어져 있습니다. 레이더 단면적은 스패로우와 거의 동일합니다.

Petit Duc was developped by a small Dassault Aviation team with our company and it was built in our factory in 8 months.

The Petit Duc made its first flight on 18 July 2000, at 150 km from Paris

The vehicle has a range of approximately 150 km (93 mi) and a maximum speed of Mach 0.5.

Petit Duc is powered by 2 AMT Olympus engine. It is fitted with a retractable landing gear. It takes off and lands from an airstrip with a backup parachute.
