The Typhoon production is nearing it's end for both Spain and Germany. Now Eurofighter is in the run for the South Korean F-X III as well as Cassidian bidding for a consulting contract to develop the KF-X.
The C203 proposal looks like a stealthified Typhoon, and would use many subsystems like the EJ-200 engines.
Looks to me like a good opportunity for both countries to get involved. This way Germany and Spain could obtain a 5th generation aircraft to replace older legacy types as Tornadoes and Mirages/Hornets.
Plus a Typhoon order from SoKo would keep Cassidian of Germany/Spain in the buiseness for some time. The Koreans don't seem to be interested in local assembly, instead quick delivery and front up price is more
important.
So the deal looks like this: Koreans buy Tiffies now, and contract Cassidian for the F-X III. Spain and Germany sign up as junior partner in KF-X and commit themselves to a KF-X purchase in 2020+
All the involved parties get capable aircraft with high amount of commonality. The Europeans can keep their industry in buiseness and get an affordable 5th gen jet.
Koreans get acces to technology, and can establish themselves on the international stage as contenders in the fighter market.

요약하자면 이제 독일과 스페인은 타이푼의 수요가 없고 일거리도 없으므로 한국 KFX 지분에 참여해 부품공급과 더불어 일정 전투기를 구매한다. 독일같은 경우 토이이도 스페인은 F-18호넷 대체용으로 5세대 전투기를 얻을수 있다. 독일과 스페인은 일거리도 얻고 5세대 전투기도 얻고 한국은 기술과 전투기 시장을 얻는 누이좋고 매부좋은 일이 된다........재미있어서 퍼왔습니다

서방전투기시장의 독과점적 지위에 있는 미국하고는 좀 그렇고,
독일, 스페인같은 전투기 분야의 끈을 아예 놓고 싶어하지 않는, 유럽 쪽과 해야,
결실을 맺기에 더 높은 가능성이 있지 않을까 추측해봅니다...

최소한 베이스를 구축하는 끈은 절대 놓지 않을 것 같습니다.
끈을 놓는 순간,
다른 사례들 처럼 다른 소수국가들에 의존하고 이리저리 치이게 될 가능성이 많습니다.
그런데~
러시아, 프랑스, 스웨덴도 유럽입니다.
타이푼 이후 계획된 스케줄이 없다해서 유럽이란 전채적인 케이스로 묶어 가는건
좀 무리가 있지 않을까요?
무인공격기나 무인전술기 개발에 대한 계획은 아직까진 살아있죠.
개인적으로 궁금한게,
프랑스의 향후 행보입니다.
독자적으로 지속적인 전투기 개발이 원활하게 가능하겠느냐가 궁금하고,
이를 타개하기 위해 프랑스가 어찌 움직이느냐이죠.
지난번 영국항공잡지나, 일본잡지를 봤을 때
유럽국가 또는 타 대륙국가들과 함께 새판짜기를 할 가능성이 많다고 하죠.
아무리 무인전술기 시대가 도래해도
유인기 수요는 자국내외로 존재하니...
라팔로 도배나, 노후기체를 전부 대체할 수 없기에 차세대 전투기 개발가능성이 남아 있다고
하더군요..(닷소도 살아야 할 듯..)
