Sukhoy Company to Demonstrate Su-35 Fighter at MAKS-2007
OAO Sukhoy Aviation Holding Company will demonstrate for the first time at MAKS-2007 the multirole ultra maneuverable Su-35 fighter, the advisor to the Sukhoy company’s general director, Aleksey Poveshchenko, reported. He noted that in the very near future the Su-35 will be the company’s main export product.

앞으로 동사의 주요 수출기종이 될것 이라고...
“The airplane is intended for the destruction of aerial, ground and surface targets using guided and unguided aerial weapons systems,” Poveshchenko said. According to him, the aircraft has been developed to a significant degree on the basis of the technology being use in the creation of the domestic fifth generation fighter. “The airplane has received an improved airframe which allows achieving an appreciable increase of the airplane’s service life - up to 6,000 hours or 30 years of service. Technologies for lowering the radar signature were used in its development,” Poveshchenko explained.

중인 5세대 기존에 사용되는 차세대 기술의 상당부분이 접목된다고... 기체 골격
개량을 통해 기체 수명을 6000 시간, 30년의 기체수명을 가지게된다고, 또한 저피탐성
을 고려한 레이다 RCS 을 줄이는 기술도 개발시 적용되었다고...
Another important distinction of the Su-35 from predecessors of the Su-27 family is the use of new 117S engines developed by NPO Saturn, Poveshchenko noted. In comparison with the AL-31F, along with thrust, the power plant’s service life characteristics also have grown 2 - 2.7 times. Additionally, the airplane has been equipped with an auxiliary power plant which allows operation from unprepared airfields.
**Su-35가 기존의 Su-27 계열과 다른 큰 차이가 신형 117S 엔진을 사용한다고, Al-31F 와
비교하여 추력외, 엔진 수명을 2~2.7배 늘렸다고, 또한 보조동력장치를 부착하여,
준비되지않은 활주로상에서 운용이 가능하다고...
A new radar control system with the “Irbis-Eh” ((type of snow leopard)) phased antenna array which possesses unique target detection range performance is the basis of the Su-35 weapons control system. It allows the detection of airborne targets at a distance up to 400 kilometers, tracking up to 30 aerial targets and also to fire at up to 8 targets and 4 ground targets simultaneously. The fighter’s combat capabilities in the future will be expanded appreciably owing to new weapons systems.
