Navy II-38 in air show debut

**인도해군의 IL-38 이 에어쇼에 등장


The Indian Navy's Ilyushin Il-38SD maritime patrol aircraft made its air show debut earlier this
month with a flypast of Yelahanka air force base, on the opening day of Aero India 2007 in
Bangalore. The Indian navy is understood to have received three upgraded Il-38s from Russia,
which have had their sensors replaced by a new system, dubbed "Sea Dragon". This includes
new radars, whose antennas are visible on the upper part of the forward fuselage and under the
nose. Indo-Russian joint venture Brahmos revealed plans at the show to equip the Il-38SDs with
a pair of PJ-10 Brahmos missiles to supplement the standard anti-ship arsenal of smaller Kh-35
Uran missiles.

IL-38을 인도 받았으며, 이 기체들은 센서가 upgrade되어 이름도 'Sea Dragon'
으로 명명... 신형 레이다의 안테나는 기체머리 상부와 하부에 식별이
가능하다고... 또한 쇼기간중 인도와 러시아간 공동 개발한 PJ-10 브라모스를
IL-38SD에 2발 장착할 계획을 공개... 이것은 기존의 Kh-35 Uran 미사일을
보완하게 될것이라고...

역자주) 기체머리 상부의 것은 2SD9 ESM 장비이고, 기수하부 언급은
FLIR(SD7) 과 E/O(SD5) sensor들을 의미, 실제 radar는 하부에 불룩한
부분에 들아가 있으며, 2SD1으로 개량사업시 교체 되었습니다.
