    IMV는 해외파병용으로 개발된 것은 아니고 오스트렐리아 북부 사막지대에서 신속히 병력을 이동시킬 수단으로써 개발되었습니다.

    우리나라의 해외파병은 현재도 몇 개국에 걸쳐서 이루어지고 있고, 앞으로도 계속 요구될 것인 데 좀 든든하고 자랑스럽게 각종 장비를 갖추어서 보냈으면 합니다....

    평화유지활동이나 저강도 전장으로의 개입등으로 주임무가 변경된 한가로운 외국의 군대와 전혀 그렇지않은 우리군의 병기운용 사상은 다를수밖에 없지요.

    해외파병시 우리나라는 RPG만 걱정하는 데, 다른 나라들은 해외 파병시 RPG 보다는 지뢰나 매설된 폭발물에 대한 방호력을 갖춘 차량들에 더 신경을 쓰는 것 같습니다...독일의 딩고나 호주의 부쉬마스터 같은 차량을 우리도 해외파병용으로 100대 정도만 도입했으면 합니다....현재의 차량들은 전혀 대비가 안되어 있는 데 너무 무심하다는 생각이 듭니다..........
