 Russian military invented an electric dome to protect objects from a swarm of drones

 Specialists of the Military Educational and Scientific Center of the Ground Forces of 
the Combined-Arms Academy of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have 
patented a system for protecting critical objects in the form of an electric dome from 
a group attack by aerial drones.

 The electronic detection system will be able to track the group movement of the UAV, 
and the operator of the electric dome will be able to set the modes of exposure to 
high-voltage on the UAVs.

 The defense device against group attack of unmanned aerial vehicles, according to 
the document, consists of an assembled domed hemispherical type of two-contact 
structure, electronic detection means, an automated operator's workplace based on 
a computer and special software, a device for converting electrical energy, 
a matching device, a power supply for electrical energy and a video surveillance system.
