The Boxer armoured transport vehicle is a state-of-the-art, highly mobile 8x8 wheeled vehicle whose modular design enables a wide array of mission-specific vehicle configurations. The Boxer is the outcome of the largest joint armoured vehicle development programme ever mounted in a Nato context. The Boxer is a joint German-British-Dutch project in which four leading European manufacturers of armoured vehicles ?among them Rheinmetall Landsysteme ?have joined forces to form ARTEC.
