Behind B-52 Photo Op: Old neighbors + new Pyoung Yang contacts
Unlike what most BeMil members believe (or assume), there are a lot more stories being developed behind B-52 Flyover photo op. On this letter, I would like to share 2 more commonly understood ¡°behind stories¡±.
--- Story – 1:
Most, if not all, USAF bombers operate in ¡°Ship Formation¡±. This means, most bombers (B-52, B-1B, B-2) go into combat operations in multiple bomber formations. For B-52s, it is usually 2-ship-formation: two B-52 bombers operate together for one mission.
The one B-52 you saw over South Korea is one of the two B-52¡¯s for this Korea mission. The other B-52 you did not see was flying outside your (or anybody else¡¯s) radar detection range, but within capable strike range (cruise missiles). The B-52 you saw over Korea does not carry any nuclear weapons. The other B-52 you did not see may carry those weapons. Please remember that, the only weapon system that can destroy North Korean underground bunkers ( newer ones built even deeper) are Nuclear weapons.
Because of such weapon system that can be deployed into action, it is a customary international agreement to inform each other ( US-Russia-China in Asia) about these kinds of bomber missions prior to any actual actions take place. Yes, as you have just guessed, Washington informed Beijing and Moscow, and nobody seriously objected to the B-52 mission.
--- Story –2 :
As you already know, during late Presidents DJ Kim and No¡¯s terms, all the high value North Korean HUMINT capability were terminated. South Korean intelligence community has not yet developed any significant ¡°inside HUMINT¡± program since that purge.
The US intelligence community uses different approach to Pyoung Yang¡¯s friends. Here is a simple example:
Someone (the US) calls a new Pyoung Yang friend, but this Pyoung Yang friend is very skeptical about this phone call: He thinks it can be Kim Jeung Eun¡¯s secret service playing a game on him. In order to make the new Pyoung Yang friend to trust the phone call : ¡°Tomorrow by 2:30PM, a B-52 with tail number XXXXX, will fly over SuWan, and it will be escorted by two USAF F-16s and two RoKAF F-15s. I will call you tomorrow night.¡±
With just one flyover, there are many more behind stories than these two stories you just read, such as, what are those B-52s doing in Hawaii ? (not in Guam)
Come to think of it, there is nobody in Kim Jeung Eun¡¯s circle who can inform him of the real developments behind a B-52 flyover; because Kim kills anyone who acts smarter than him.
Thank you for reading this boring letter.
